I built this site because I believe in real conversations with real people, so the contact page is not going to be a form that disappears into a void. It is going to be me, reading your message, and writing back. Here is what I want to hear about:

You want to travel. Whether that means you are ready to book a trip through Besté Travel Design and want someone obsessed with the details to plan it for you, or you want to join one of our group experiences and travel with a group of women who know how to eat and where to go and I am the person to talk to. Tell me where you have always wanted to go, and let's figure out how to get you there.

You are a Detroit business, food supplier, restaurant, or brand and you want to talk about a collaboration. I am actively seeking partnerships with people building something worth talking about in this city. If you make something I would put in my kitchen or on my table or recommend to a friend, I want to know about you.

You are a brand or company outside of Detroit with a product or experience that fits the Meghann Rae world, in travel, food, kitchen, lifestyle, or reinvention, and you want to explore what working together looks like. Pitch me. I read everything.

You just want to say something. Maybe a post landed for you. Maybe you have a restaurant recommendation I absolutely need. Maybe you want to tell me I am wrong about something, which is allowed as long as you make a compelling argument and are not a jerk about it. All of this is welcome.

What I Do Not Need

Spam. If your opening line is "I came across your website and wanted to offer you an incredible opportunity," I want you to know that I have already deleted it in my head before finishing the sentence.

Hate mail. I am a grown woman who left a Fortune 5 company to build something on her own terms and I have a very high tolerance for difficulty. Whatever you were planning to send, I have heard harder things from people whose opinions I actually cared about.
